Wishlist MX Player Movie Review – A story celebrating the best of life.

Wishlist MX Player 2020 is a movie that will actually light up the candle of life that we never even look in the daily rat race that we enrolled ourselves into. Shalini and Mohit are a happily married couple who share a great bond together. Mohit is more of a workaholic and planned side while Shalini chooses primarily to go with the flow. Soon Shalini finds out that a little boy Somu, son of one of their neighbours has got a disease and has barely 2-3 months on earth. Her heart moistens on knowing this. Mohit initially gets irritated with Somu’s mischief, but his heart melts as well when he knows about Somu’s ailment. On the same day, Mohit faints in the office. On getting the tests done, the doctor reveals to Shalini that Mohit is diagnosed with the last stage of spinal chord cancer and hence he has only 2-3 months left on earth. Life takes a turn for the couple, and Shalini stays strong to make a list of Mohit’s wishes and starts ticking them off, the first one being visiting Europe. Mohit’s elder sister lived in France. They start off with the Eiffel Tower and then his sister’s house. On reaching Switzerland, they get robbed and luckily a European man with his Indian wife shelters them at their weekend house in Switzerland. After some days, Mohit leaves the world, after sharing his message to all those who forget to live and take life for granted.

Wishlist is a story of inspiration and motivation. It’s a tale of awareness where people are asked to live life to the fullest and accept death as a certainty.

Script

The script of Wishlist web movie MX Player undoubtedly has a lot of punch and good substance to complement the well-designed and perfectly characterised story of the movie. The dialect coupled very well with the backdrop of the movie.

Acting

In Wishlist web movie, Hina Khan is undoubtedly the star of the show. She slips with ease into the skin of the character and slowly sculpts it out in the best possible way. Jitendra Rai’s excellent delivery as Mohit will keep the viewers glued throughout.

Music

Of all aspects of MX Player new web movie Wishlist, music ruled the show. Background scores were absolutely amazing. Instead of bringing tears to the eye, the background scores were full of life and the tranquil flavour of the music added to the glory of the film.

Cinematography, Special Effects & Editing

The cinematography of Wishlist was absolutely bewitching. The work of camera was excellent with very good angles of shot. Editing was crisp and made the movie a treat to the eyes.

Direction

Wishlist is a story of acceptance and strength. This rare competition has been tried out by many, but successfully portrayed by very less. Rahat Kazmi has done an excellent job in projecting the emotions though a no-tear shield. The characterisation has been sculpted out so well, that there is very little room for criticism. However, a little more insight to the situations after the couple got robbed could have enhanced the realistic aspect of the film. Nonetheless, Wishlist a great retreat to the eye-soothing scenic beauty and picturesque emotions that garb our life, until we realise the real worth of it.
