Hello Mini 2 on MX Player 2021 is an excellent sequel of the 2019 release first season of this marvellous stalker fantasy. Without watching the first season, it is pretty difficult to grasp what is happening from the very beginning in the sequel. Rivanah is again out of her city, Kolkata, far away from home. She tries to move on and say a goodbye to her past. But destiny has something else in store. Rivanah moves in with her lover Danny to a 1BHK apartment and soon, Danny’s best friend Nitya joins them in order to move on from her break up. But soon, Rivanah discovers that Hiya is alive, and before she could reach to the roots of the matter, Rivanah is again in the clutches of the stranger.

Hello Mini Season 2 is a simple thriller that doesn’t care of what reality seeks. It concentrates totally on fictionalised plot building and wipes off boredom throughout its 10 episodes.
Script
The script of Hello Mini: Season 2 web series MX Player is not very intellectually designed. But it bears the flavour of the story. The dialogues suite the characters, without adding much introspective angle. At certain points the delivery seems to be artificial, but majority of the script hold good for the plot.
Acting
Anuja Joshi did a splendid job. Her actions were sometimes monotonous, but her reactions had the power of inner desire to fight and that made her push her limits. Anuja’s expressions could have been better though at certain points, but she filled in the gap with her substantial voice modulation. Mrinal was as good as his co-star. Although Anuja was the soul of the series, Mrinal didn’t let himself dullen even for a moment. Joy Sengupta is brilliant as usual in his short screen presence.
Music
Music of Hello Mini: Season 2 was fairly composed by Ripul Sharma and George Joseph. Sound designer Venkatesh Iyer did a very good job in bringing out the flavour of thrill, suspense and fear, through the sound effects and background music.
Cinematography, Special Effects & Editing
The cinematography of Hello Mini: Season 2 could have been way better. Santosh Vasandi as the DOP could have done much more in terms of cinematography. Arjun Srivasstava and Gaurav Joshi worked well as the editors of the series.
Direction
Written by Novoneel Chakroborty, Hello Mini: Season 2 holds suspense at its very base, giving myriad shades to the character of Rivanah. A little more emphasis on the supporting characters could have added much more depth to the series. However, Arjun Srivasstava had a good approach to the direction of the series and did jusitice to Novoneel’s delectable novel.
