Crash web series starts off simple. A happy family of a loving husband, a lovely wife and four children, two of them being twins, meet with an accident on a rainy night—Kabir, Kajal, Rahim and Alia. The parents die, with the four kids getting administered to an orphanage without proper paperwork. Alia got adopted first since she was the youngest. And then Rahim and finally it was Kajal’s turn. But Kabir never got adopted and became a police officer years later. While Kabir and Kajal knew about their adoption, Rahim and Alia were too young to remember the history of their childhood. Alia’s new parents gave her the love she deserved and her dad’s friend Gautam is shown to have a son Puneet from his wife Devyani. But Gautam is engaged in an extra-marital affair with his secretary Divya, who in turn adopts Kajal in order to get rid off her loneliness as Gautam would never leave his family. When the kids grew up, things get toxic between Puneet and Kajal when they meet in the same college. The story takes its own pace as Kabir finds out that Kajal is his sister and the two siblings are now on their feet to find their twin siblings. But before things fall in place, Gautam dies of an injury and eventually Kajal gets accused and arrested of Gautam’s murder.

Crashh has a one-liner summing up the entire story in the title of the first episode— “One womb, four destinies”.
Script
The script of Crashh had the flavour of monotony. All the central characters except Kabir had a similar style of dialogue delivery with similar key terms. Even the conversation between Gautam and Divya seemed to be very artificial and absolutely lifeless.
Acting
Aditi Sharma was at her best in the character of Kajal. Her narration was as good as her acting skills and added a lot of depth in the shallow setup f a dysfunctional family. Rakesh Joshi was next in line, with excellent delivery of dialogues and perfect diction. Anushka Sen also played her part quite well as compared to the other more experienced actors.
Music
Compilation of popular numbers from the golden age of Bollywood music—that’s what is the musical framework of Crashh in a nutshell. Background scores were apt, but could have been subjected to more experiment.
Cinematography, Special Effects & Editing
Crashh web series could not have had a better work of cinematography. The craft of camera projected by the director of photography, Hanoz Kerawala, was simply beyond just WOW. Sharp and contextual editing by Vikas Sharma and Vinay Malu complemented the magical cinematography in the best possible way.
Direction
Kushal Zaveri attempted to make a fresher approach to the story. But what seriously prevented the show from being a masterpiece is the expenditure of time on comparatively less important cinematographic moments. The time instead could have been used to determine how Gautam got killed and how Kajal forgot everything right after her mom tried to commit suicide for the 8th time.
