Story

Backpackers Web Series begins with the story of Kanan, a banker, who has recently been dumped by his girlfriend, and is on a solo trip for a change in life, given he’s someone who prefers the boring, routine regimented lifestyle. He is by chance on the bus, joined by a rather free-spirited group of three people, Era, Shivang and Anna. With a group of complete strangers, we see Kanan, not only get out of his comfort zone but also evolve and undergo a perspective change as a person. We also see the show address personal things about the rest of the groups too, and how behind their happy faces, there exist stark, probably personally uncomfortable realities, too.

Backpackers Web Series Review – Love To Travel, Travel To Love

YouTube channel “Alright” dropped its first-ever mini-series titled “Backpackers” on 29th December 2019. It stays true to its name and the show is merely 3 episodes long with each episode’s average duration being just 12 minutes long. Regardless of the age group one belongs, the show succeeds in offering a satiating story with the necessary plot developments, even though the title and the premise of the show may seem only millennial-friendly. The mere short length of the show which is almost 38 minutes is one of the biggest takeaways as you start with the show and end with it within the same hour itself.
