The story of Zee5 originals production The Power movie 2021 is a crime thriller which is crafted well initially, but then gives in to the predictable track of events.
The Thakurs represent an extremely powerful and influential clan in the city of Mumbai, with corrupt politicians and police personnels facilitating their journey of crime. Both the naysayers as well as the betrayers are given the prize of death from the Thakurs.
But then, the table is shown to take turns. Kalidas Thakur has created his position with the hard work of brutality and crime intelligence. His son Devidas is undoubtedly a just heir of the legacy of the Thakurs. However, the rival gangs and goons come together and conspire against the Thakurs. With opposition united, the Thakurs did have a tough time in dodging the attacks on them through various ways. The story of the Thakur’s survival against the conspired attack is what The Power movie basically talks about.

The script of The Power movie Zee5 is undoubtedly eventful and equally contextual. The script is one of the primary elements that binds the show despite the not-so-different substance that constitutes the plot of The Power.
Acting
Vidyut Jammwal is a gem of an actor—his performance made up for the otherwise bland story The Power presents us. After Criminal Justice Season 2, Jisshu Sengupta is back to give us another brilliant experience of watching him in a completely different character with no strings attached to the past roles he beautifully elucidated on screen. It is indeed a treat to the eyes to watch Shruti Hassan in such a dynamic role on The Power.
Music
Under the supervision of Salim Sulaiman, the music and background scores of The Power was a relief of fresh spring that actually brought out the darkness of the film with a lot of grace and elegance. Melody and blood blended to gift the audience a deadly potion of entertainment.
Cinematography, Special Effects & Editing
With Rakesh Rawat as the DOP, the work of camera clearly nailed it. Important cinematographic moments were captured in the best possible way with good angles of shot. Sarvesh Parab has also worked well as the editor of The Power movie watch online.
Direction
Mahesh Manjrekar envisioned The Power as a saga of crime and vengeance. But what came in way was the idea of over hyping the central theme of the film. When the plot is this common, a lot is dependant on execution and presentation. The absence of twists has somewhere penalized The Power, essentially when OTT platforms are booming with best contents.
