Thanthu Vitten Ennai Web Series Review – A Complete Family Entertainer

Thanthu Vitten Ennai story is a humor and drama plot that happens in the family. This is a good family entertainer which delivers clean humor and drama that happens in the family. Ashwin and Hari Priya who are well know actors and very familiar to Tamil audience played the role for the series. A popular actor, old movie heroine Seetha played a very curious role in this web series. Vinay (Ashwin) meets Amrita (Hari priya) accidentally and he falls in love her. Amrita belongs to a lower middle class family, whereas Ashwin is a pampered rich kid. Vinay wants to marry Amrita as he likes her behavior and nature. On the other hand, Vinay’s grandmother (Seetha) chooses Pooja, who is from a very rich family as a bride for him. Amrita has a step mother who torchers her so much. Amrita’s stepmother wants her to marry a married old man. While Pooja understands that Vinay does not like her, she tries all ways to impress him. She joins as an assistant to impress Vinay.  On other hand, Vinay lies to Amrita to impress her and wants to become friends with her.

Meanwhile, Amrita’s step mother continues to force her to marry the old man against her wish. Day by day, Vinay’s love towards Amrita increases and he feels that he can’t live without Amrita. Whereas, Amrita wants to marry the Old man who is taking care of her family and supporting financially  for her mother’s medical expenses.

Pooja likes Vinay’s character and feels that he is the one for her. In his day dreams, he one day mistakes Pooja as Amrita and expresses his love, starts a romantic conversation with her. After these situations Pooja assumes that Vinay is also in love with her. Vinay’s family after watching them dancing in rain think that they both are in love. The complications increase day by day due to the assumptions.

One fine day Vinay wants to propose Amrita. He wants to meet her and expresses his feeling. In a public place he sees Anand who is forcing Amrita to marry him urgently. He ferociously warns Anand to maintain distance with Amrita. But Ananad reveals the bitter truth with Vinay.

After continuous releases of web series and movies on OTT platform Zee5 , it has launched Thanthu Vitten Ennai web series. Thanthu Vitten Ennai is a remake of a very successful Marathi series ‘Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi’.

Script

As mentioned earlier  the script is a remake of famous Marathi web series Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi’. But the remake has definetly made some changes as per the regional requirements. The emotions are carried in a great manner. The humorous scenes around the family are pulled out well. The emotional difference is very well presented.

Acting

Seetha is already a proven versatile actor. Her elegant performance adds value to the series. Ashvin is a proven actor and he performed well. Hari Priya carried very good emotions. She has done justice to her job.

Music

The background of the web series is apt for the situations.

Cinematography, Special Effects & Editing

Vinod Bharathi is well known cinematographer for many Malayalam and Tamil worked for this series. He has projected the scenes very well.

Direction

Rajeev K Prasad who is the director of the series delivered the emotions well. He balanced the humor and emotional scenes in a great manner. He has directed a film called ‘Sathuran’ in Tamil.
