That’s the story line of Putham Pudhu Kaalai, which is made up of 5 short stories with 5 different directors. The story revolves about the miracles, second chances that life gives us and happy endings.
In one of the stories, Gautham Menon’s Avarum Naanum/Avalum Naanam (M S Bhaskar, Ritu Varma) revolves around the grand daughter (Ritu varma) and her grandfather (M S Bhaskar). We can see the young couple who turns into elders and hide about them from grown-up kids, until…. one day.
In “Coffee Anyone?” ,a family drama which was directed Suhasini Mani Ratnam, you can see all the three Hassan siblings( Suhasini, Shruthi Hassan,Anu Hassan) clubbed up along with Suhasini Mani Ratnam’s mother Komalam Charuhasan and a Tamil actor Kathadi Ramamurthy. The third child (Shruthi) goes away from the home as she doesn’t want to remain in contact with her family. When her comatose mother turns 75 years, she does a video call and the scene is very emotional.

The emotional support which is given by the doctor and his mother to Sadhana is beautifully narrated.
