Master movie tamil is a super star studded film, filled with action and entertainment especially for vijay and vijay sethupathi fans.
JD aka Vijay is a professor, and is not liked by his college peers and heads. He is an alcohol addict and does not have a disciplined life and breaks the laws at the drop of a hat. He commits a crime and is thrown into a correction centre to manage the young criminals. The correction centre head is Bhavani aka Vijay Sethupathi . He is a criminal who cannot be controlled even by cops.The story is about how he handles the criminal Bhavani and does the things in favour of young children to save them from crime. Master is all about Vijay aka JD saving the young children from false crimes.

Analysis
Vijay got a full scope to showcase his personality and talent, and gain more mass appeal through this film. Be it his physique or dancing or acting all come n great way for Vijay in Master.
Vijay Sethupathi already has an appeal with audience as a man with ordinary looks but great attraction. Whenever he comes on screen, it is enjoyable. When Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi come together, the Sethupathi’s animosity scenes come out very well. He has a promising role in this movie and does it greatly. He has a very good screen presence, a tight competition to Vijay.
Vijay has got a good introductory role in the film, scenes of kabaddi, phone banging etc are few highlights of film.
The climax scene is the only place where the two actor’s Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi face each other, and has won the hearts of audience where the actors have performed exceptionally well.
The end part of the film where the climax has both the actors seeing is very good, if developed more , could have been a further crowd puller. The director has failed to etch the enmity scenes well, it lacks the intensity.
Though the story is simple, it lacks the clarity and scene to scene depth. Editing of the film could have been better, by which the movie could have been more watchable. It is the stars of the film which make it more watchable than anything else.
Few ideas like a criminal handling the correction centre looks unreal. The narration is the spoil sport of the film. Except casting everything about the film and director is average.
Production role is excellent, camera job is excellent especially in jail scenes, looks real. College setup is excellent, lyrics are good too. Vijay Sethupathi in a dubbed role looks needless. Music by Anirudh is a class apart.
Lokesh, has wasted the actors in a way where they could not give their emotional best to the film.
Verdict
The movie had lot of expectations from audience, but has definitely not reached its mark. But Vijay Sethupathi and Vijay fans will relish this movie. It can be definitely watched once.
