Taqdeer Hoichoi Review – Sometimes connections can be dangerous
Hoichoi web series Taqdeer holds a story that would definitely require the rumination of its viewers. Taqdeer is the driver of a freezer man—he is a common man. He transports corpses from the morgue to the cremation spots, graveyards and also transports meat in the same van. One day suddenly he discovers that there’s an unclaimed body of a woman inside his van. Later, it is found that the woman was a journalist who went missing a few days ago. The story takes its own pace and proceeds with the investigation of the death of the journalist and the journey of Taqdeer in a matter which he had no clue of.

Taqdeer reflects a slice of life. In life we often fall prey to situations which are not connected to us directly. Yet, we have to encounter the problems pertaining to such situations and act accordingly.
Script
The script of Taqdeer is eventful and reflects the flavour of the series in the best possible way. The dialogues and diction have been framed so well that characterisation of the series has become all the more enhanced. Realism sparks through the script.
Acting
Chanchal Chowdhury was undoubtedly the star of the show. He enlivened the character of Taqdeer and added much more than just flesh and blood to it. Sanjida Preeti was excellent in her delivery. She maintained her diction throughout with exquisite ease and hence gave everything the character of Afsana deserved. Manoj Kumar Pramanik as Rana was equally good as well with Shohel Mondol as Montu.
Music
With Ruslan Rehman as the man behind music, the combination of scenes with apt background scores, made a grave mark. Sound designing and synchronisation by Rajesh Saha were equally impeccable.
Cinematography, Special Effects & Editing
Barkat Hossain Polash as the DOP of Taqdeer did a splendid job in putting together the visuals of this series with beauty at its best. Blending of scenes, layering of camera and of course the charm of special effects—the visuals of Taqdeer is an eclectic example of profound simplicity.
Direction
With an investigative screenplay throughout the series, Syed Ahmed Shawki has maintained an excellent directorial approach to the series of Taqdeer. Minute details were kept in mind thereby keeping the viewers glued to the series. Execution was good as well with perfect utilisation of the casting members.
