IIT Krishnamurthy Review – A Half baked thriller
IIT Krishnamurthy Amazon Prime is a story which has many things not up to mark. To cut a long story short, it is not well made.
Krishnamurthy aka Prudvi is an IIT B student he is in Hyderabad in search of his uncle who is missing, since the time he is missing, Prudvi keeps getting threats and gets attacked too.
The police after investigation announce the missing person, as death of an unidentified person, In these circumstances Prudvi feels like something is fishy.
His search to find his uncle, and why these attacks, is what this movie is all about.

Performances and Characterization
Krishnamurthy role for Prudvi is not very acting oriented. He looks just a any other person , not much of screen presence, looking at him , it looks like , he needs to brush up more on acting.Though it’s a drama movie, total lack of dramatic presence or acting is seen from Prudvi, big time improvement is expected from him, it’s very evident in few scenes in the movie.
Maira has no role in the movie, looks totally out of place. Not knowing anything about Krishnamurthy, they are seen together as a pair. A pair presence was never required for this kind of plot.
Vinay verma’s acting is good, but cannot lift the movie due to poor script, The cop image is not scripted well , which if done would have been an attraction to movie.
Direction
Direction is not up to the mark, severely lacks narration though it’s a simple story; nothing could be built on it, bulk of movie is all about finding the missing person, a police character in the movie who is investigation the process, nothing is impressive and looks very predictable. Not much to look forward.
Almost initial more than half of movie has nothing much to offer, as said narration is poor , casting does not help movie, nothing engaging. Director takes time to know what is the movie all about. Movie lacks a movie presence, so difficult to watch in a ott platform too.
A corporate angle to the movie and how it is related to the missing story is seen as additional part, but we fail to understand the connection between two stories.
Only the last part i.e. , when the mystery is cracked is good to watch, but if seen critically that also is expected and predictable. But at least looks like something is done properly. The twist in the end is the only part which is worth waiting for.
Cinematography
It’s decent, movie looks good.
Music
Except one song “samayam jaripe” nothing is required for this movie. It’s a situational song. Back ground music is okay, but very repetitive, so we feel bored, nothing new.
Verdict
IIT Krishnamurthy is not very clear cut, except a couple of scenes here and there are good, nothing much to recommend it in any area of movie making.
