“Class of 2020” is a high school-based show that revolves around the idea of school and the seemingly nostalgic experiences one looks back at, which he/she’s made with his/her final sways that they were with, before bidding adieu to the chapter of school in their respective lives. With each episode’s duration not being more than 15-25 minutes, it’s a fairly okay binge material to go for over the weekend or probably during break times and lunches.
Class Of 2020 Review – Yet Another School Series, Glamorous And Raunchy In Bits
The plot developments revolve around a social group of teenagers, who set aside their tittle-tattle differences and come together to spend time with each other. The school they study in is a fictitious enterprise named De Nobili High School.
It starts off by introducing each character which gives the audience a premise about their respective life-stories and personality traits.
The story then slowly hyperloop into the darker elements of their respective personalities.
Every once in a while we get scenes and sets depicted around the idea of drugs, sex, etc. which while may not be necessarily stereotyping, but is sometimes excessive as the story then becomes everything about that one particular trait and hence, extremely over the board. However, there isn’t much, intact any latency as each time there’s an abundant depiction of something, the story manages to get right back on track at the very moment.
In essence, this definitely isn’t necessarily a must-watch, however, the show may, in fact, offer you an outlet, if you need a change in the way characters are depicted
Filmography:
As much as the show revolves around an ensemble of characters, we seem to have Nausheen Ali Sardar and Rushad Rana in the lead roles. Sushant Tanwar’s character connects really with the audience. And Swapna Waghmare’s presence definitely manages to put a smile on your face, considering the character she depicts.
